Iezzoni & Krump Wedding
Iezzoni & Krump Wedding Branding
Client: Emma Iezzoni & Nate Krump | Role: Ideation, Branding, Print & Web Design
BACKGROUND: Emma Iezzoni and Nate Krump are getting married August 2019. For their wedding, they wanted a branded look that would capture their personalities and passions while still remaining elevated across all of their wedding collateral. This is an ongoing project; brand guidelines, printed save-the-dates and wedding website have been created to date, invitations and other day of collateral is forthcoming.
To understand the style my clients wanted to achieve, I started with brand guideline explorations, which included custom mood boards and recommendations for color palette and typography.
Brand Guideline Exploration: Round I
From these explorations I was able to gain a better understanding of what was most important to my clients: they wanted bold type for better legibility, to showcase the location of their wedding venue (Philadelphia) and to tie in either the venue itself (The Barnes Foundation) or highlight their personal passions (travel and adventure). For round two, I refined their brand guidelines and offered save-the-date explorations that applied the brand to collateral.
Brand Guideline Exploration: Round II
CONCEPT: The final version of the brand guidelines are inspired by Philadelphia and love notes. I played off of Emma and Nate’s passion for travel and adventure by incorporating the map and dotted line accents. I also thought about the many friends and family who will be descending upon Philly to celebrate their marriage; the paper airplane icon is meant to signify the “love note” sent out to share the good news.
